Kim Louria
Kim Louria is a veteran educator and mindfulness guide with over 25 years of experience in public, private, charter, and Montessori schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Reading from Eastern Michigan University, along with a Montessori Diploma and trauma-informed yoga training. Kim has taught grades 1–6, developed reading intervention programs, and most recently served as a math specialist. Passionate about nature-based learning, she blends academic rigor with mindfulness and outdoor education to support each child’s unique journey. Now at Roots Nature & Leadership Academy, Kim is committed to helping children connect deeply with nature and themselves.
